Overview
Because the world we live in is slowly creeping towards George Orwell’s 1984, we at Well Read Christian believe it is important to be completely transparent about the information we collect and why we collect it. Furthermore, we want you to have complete control over the data we have.
As a general rule, WRC will not save any information you have not explicitly given us. We also pay our website host a lot of money to keep all sensitive or personal information given encrypted. Obviously, under no circumstance will WRC share, sell, lease or rent any of the information you give us to unaffiliated 3rd parties.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We may share this information internally with (website) employees or third-party contractors as needed. This information is only used to to improve the website and enhance our visitors’ experience. Raw data logs are only retained temporarily site management purposes.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
WRC will never use, sell, or exploit the information you have given us to unaffiliated 3rd parties. Ever.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
